We posted a link to this 15 minute clip from 60 Minutes Australia a few weeks ago on our Facebook page. While the dramatic cinematography and somewhat over the top sound effects add a slight camp quality, the video does an excellent job of portraying both sides of the vaccination debate and the overall message is clear and straightforward.  The clip portrays parents who lost children to vaccine preventable diseases alongside prominent anti-vaccine advocates who state that vaccine preventable diseases like whooping cough and measles are natural in the course of human development—an argument that is tough to rationalize by parents interviewed in the segment who suffered the tragic and unnecessary loss of a child to a vaccine preventable disease.
