CDC Pink Course Book Offered in Nevada October 28-30, 2013

2013 Nevada Health Conference Overview

The 2013 Nevada Health Conference is just around the corner. This annual conference is an opportunity to learn the most current information about vaccine- preventable disease, including the CDC’s two-day Epidemiology and Vaccine-Preventable Diseases Pink Book Course. This is the ONLY CDC Pink Book Course offered on the west coast in 2013 and space is limited.

The conference kicks off with a one-day multi-track course featuring information and updates on vaccination strategies and advances including improving immunization rates in your practice and community; strategies for immunizing children and adolescents; and regional and national immunization trends. In addition to immunization seminars, additional tracks focusing on maternal, child and adolescent health, as well as chronic diseases prevention and health promotion will also be offered.

The final two days of the conference are lead by the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases. The two-day course covers the principles of vaccine-preventable diseases and the vaccines that prevent them, as well as provides the most current recommendations and answers from our nation’s vaccination experts.
