For the second straight year, Kaiser Permanente will conduct a live TweetChat to encourage people – members and non-members – to get immunized against the flu. This year’s TweetChat will feature three Kaiser Permanente infectious disease physicians: Randy Bergen, MD, Margaret Khoury, MD, and Eric Harker, MD. They will share best practices regarding flu immunization and prevention.
The TweetChat is scheduled for noon to 1 p.m. (Pacific time) on Thursday, November 14. The chat will be publicly available on Twitter to anyone who searches for the hashtag #kphealthychat.
The TweetChat will be promoted broadly both in Kaiser Permanente facilities and among employees/physicians, and externally through conventional and social media channels.
Kaiser Permanente’s national and regional public relations teams, in collaboration with KP physicians, have conducted TweetChats since 2011 on topics ranging from domestic violence prevention to sun safety and skin cancer awareness/prevention.
