Pink Book Training – September 16-17, 2015 – Tacoma, WA – Early Bird Registration ending July 15th

Early Bird Registration is coming to a close. The 2015 Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine-Preventable Diseases Course, also known as the Pink Book training will be hosted by WithinReach on September 16-17, 2015 in Tacoma, WA. Early Bird Registration closes on July 15th and rooms at the Hotel Murano are filling up.

The Pink Book Training is a live, two-day comprehensive review of immunization principles, as well as vaccine-preventable diseases and the recommended vaccines to prevent them. The course will cover the most up-to-date immunization information from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) presented by faculty from CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases. The course offers 14 CE’s for a variety of health care professionals.

Four free pre-course workshops are also offered the day before the course, on Tuesday, September 15th covering:

  1. HPV Immunization: Why and How to Make a Strong Recommendation
  2. Vaccine Hesitancy and How to Address it in Your Community
  3. Vaccine Management & Quality Assurance
  4. Data Exchange & Easy Consumer Access to Immunization Records – Your Role in “WA-MyIR”
