The National Public Health Information Symposium and Crisis and Emergency Risk Communication Training will be held in Washington DC from September 30, through October 3, 2012. This event will feature many great opportunities to hone your communication skills and learn from public health thought leaders. The centerpiece: Crisis and Emergency Risk Communication 2.0 taught by CDC risk communication experts Dr. Barbara Reynolds and Roger Pippin. The timing for this symposium coincides with the planned fall release of CERC 2.0, the first CERC update since it was first released in 2002. In addition, the 2012 NPHIC Training Symposium will include workshops, breakout sessions, and conversations with CDC officials.
